A look at a gouache painting coming to life. The image is from a day a couple years ago flying kites with my daughter in North Joshua Tree. Two years ago I made a Lino-cut 2 color print from this image--I guess it still interests me.
When I'm in Joshua Tree I try to ride my bike everyday in the Joshua Tree Conservation Area also known as Section 6. I find lots of inspiration in this area and as busy as Joshua Tree has become this is a less traveled location with immense beauty.
